there's something new in town. it's big. it'll change the way you see social networking via the interwebz. i like to call it the new "new facebook". i've heard (actually, read) a lot of people's opinion on facebook's new layout. and from what i've seen so far, the public doesn't like it. they think it's "stupid" or "lame". i think that the reason why people think this way is because they're afraid of change. change. the one word that can destroy your world. we like being safe: knowing what and when something's going to happen, how to react, staying within the box. on the other hand, change brings the unknown, the "new frontier", and the (forgive me for using this term) scary. we wonder, "what's going to happen?", "what if i do something stupid?", "what if _____ ?". we're scared of change. we don't want to lose what we already have. but without change, we can't grow. face it. this new new facebook will always be here, and like it or not, you'll end up learning how to use it sooner or later. you're trapped, addicted to this facebook phase. so no matter what mark zuckerberg and his team pulls on us, we're stuck. we can't pull ourselves away from learning what people have done in the past day, what they've written on each other's walls via the wall-to-wall, and (my personal favourite) who they're in a relationship with and their major PDA photos (note: if you're going to post pictures of you and your hunny on facebook, please (i repeat, PLEASE) do not upload photos of you two sharing saliva. it's disgusting.). if you currently commit one of the acts mentioned in the previous package, you are an official facebook stalker. don't be ashamed; nothing is wrong with being a facebook stalker. come on, we're human. we're curious of what other people have going on in their lives, especially if they're better looking, smarter, more confident, and have more real-life friends than you. (or vice versa, if you're a member of the elite.) and plus, they uploaded this information, they're asking the world to know about their personal lives and what their friends did to him in that place at that party yesterday night. the new facebook is here to stay. for those who are slow to learn facebook's new layout, the team has tweaked their interface to include some of the older features. y'all happy?
